Sorry for the late update! Barb is still in ICU til Monday because her heart rate hasn’t stabilized on its own. Still has an external pacemaker. She is alert, is eating well and her pain is managed. They have had her up and walking in place – too many wires and tubes attached still for her to walk more than 4 feet forward and backward! (The hospital is short staffed this weekend which has been slightly frustrating, but ICU is better than the other floor in that regard so we are thankful for that.)
Barbie, so good to see this photo of you. The tubes and that wad of wires behind you look scary, but your eyes look determined. So glad you are in good hands. Barbie Braveheart, indeed. Love you sis.
