Sunday, Barb’s first full day at her home away from home, was good! (We are staying locally to facilitate post surgery appointments later this week.) After being inside a hospital for 10 days, it was a treat for her just to breathe outside air and feel the sunshine. She took several walks, is gaining more strength and mobility, and overall is doing well. We are thankful for all the positive progress! This week, we are focused on helping her get her strength back: “Have you done your breathing exercises Barb? Remember to stay in the tube! Are you ready for a walk? Are you drinking enough water? What’s your heart rate?”
It is early Monday morning as I write this and all is still quiet. I hope her second night of post-hospital sleep was good! More updates to come.
Way to go Cuz! We knew you’d do well, but you really kicked ass!!! Keep doin your thing, you RAWK!!!
Love it! She has the best support team. See you when you come HOME!
Great place to recoup. Humor – just for fun you should find out if blacks beach is still a clothing optional beach. That was a long time ago.
So glad you are out of the hospital and picking up speed. The cooler weather in SD is good for you. Look forward to see you back in the desert.
