Doc recommends waiting 2 more days to decide on pacemaker. Barb’s heart was working properly when she came out of surgery so it’s a mystery why it’s having trouble now. The atria chambers (upper) are working but the ventricle chambers (lower) are not. There is a communication block in electrical signal between them. This AV block could be from the surgery, inflammation, or medication. They don’t know how to identify the cause at this point. So we wait and continue to pray for her heart to start working well on its own!
