As per Michele’s post earlier, there has been a setback from leaving the ICU – Barb’s heart was not pacing on its own and the medical staff did not want to move her out of ICU for the weekend. So ICU is a good place to be but a bit frustrating for her…and us.
Other than this issue, Barb continues to improve in every other way. We see obvious improvements between morning and evening each day in appetite, stamina, therapy, etc. It is a remarkable recovery in a very short period of time.
Barb has read all the comments that all of you have posted and told me that she was very grateful for all the positive thoughts that everyone has sent. We are both fortunate to have the family and friends that we do and are grateful for that.

Even with the set back it sounds like you are getting excellent care and staying under closer watch in the ICU was a good move soooo, it really sounds like you are doing very well in the recovery. We are all with you kiddo…just keep on improving!
