Barb is in surgery now. The OR nurse said she would give us an update every couple hours. Mike, Tammy and I are gonna be hanging out in the hospital for the day! ~Michele

I consider it a great privilege to be here supporting both Barb and Mike. I can’t wait for Barb to hear this after her procedure: an announcement was just made over the hospital intercom that The Joint Commission surveyors just walked in for their hospital survey. For staff, this is always a little nerve-wracking to have regulators who report directly to the Federal government (Medicare-CMS) overseeing their work. For Barb, this means ALL staff and physicians will be on their toes and working towards perfection! Today’s little blessing. ?
